Get notified when a Token reaches a certain price

Price target alerts enable you to track when a specific token reaches a certain price (in ETH or in USDC). These alerts can help you perform manual or automatic actions (via our DEX Automation tools) related to the token, such as buying or selling it.

Use cases

This feature enables the following use-cases:

• Buying a token when a certain price level is reached (for example you can set price target alert for the price of the monthly support for a specific token)

• Selling a token when a price level is reached (for example you can set price target alert for the price of the monthly resistance for a specific token)

Configuration

You can configure Price Target tracking alerts through the Price Change option under the Alerts section in the TokenSight app. Click the Add Alert button in the top right corner.

The basic configuration allows you to add:

• Name - the name of the price target alert

• Selected Tokens - the tokens you want to track the prices for

• Denominator - the denominator for the token price, which can be USDC or another token

• Target Price - the target price that will trigger the notification.

The following configuration represents an alert with name "FXS Price Target", which alerts when the price (denominated in USDC) for the token FXS reaches 10 (1 FXS = 10 USDC).

After configuring the alert, you can press the Add Alert button. From this moment on you will get notified over Telegram for each transaction that matches with the alert configuration.
